North Hawaii Community Hospital is joining hospitals across the nation in
acknowledging the dangers of secondhand smoke and removing the danger
from their campuses altogether.

As of May 31, 2007, North Hawaii Community
Hospital will be a smoke-free campus. This means smoking anywhere
on the campus is prohibited for employees, patients, physicians, vendors
and visitors.
