Robin Ramsay, CNM/NP
Robin graduated from the University
of Hawaii School of Nursing and continued
her midwifery education at the
University of California at San Francisco.
Robin's work is focused in the
clinic where she coordinates the
Urogynecology Clinic. The Urogynecology
specialty offers help for women with pelvic floor
disorders, incontinence and chronic bladder infections.
Patricia Hopkins, CNM/NP
Pat, a Big Island resident since 1976, graduated from Hawaii Community
College and Hawaii Pacific University. She attended the University of Miami
where she received both her NP and CNM. Pat returned to the Big Island in
2004, joining WWC, where she delivers a full scope practice for well women,
family planning, prenatal care and delivery. Pat has delivered over 4,000
babies.
JoAnn Johansen, CNM
JoAnn grew up on the East Coast and received her midwifery
training at Yale University. She has been practicing
in a variety of settings since 1987. In 2004, after ten
years of living and working on Molokai, she moved to
the Big Island, which has always been her favorite part of
Hawaii. When not helping babies be born, JoAnn enjoys
lava hiking, yoga, working out, and growing orchids.
Roberta Kvenild, CNM
Roberta has had the blessing of delivering babies for
thirty-six years, with twenty-two years of home birth in
Santa Cruz, Ca and fourteen years of hospital births on
Oahu, Kauai and Big Island. She went to midwifery
school at University of California San Francisco in 1980. When not
working she spends time with family, fixes her
100 year old house, grows orchids and gardens.
Pat Bourke, NP
Patti received her education at the University
of Hawaii, Manoa Campus in Honolulu.
She moved to Hawaii in 1969 from
Buffalo New York. Pat has been practicing
on the Big Island since 1998.
